References to “Terravet,” “we,” “us” or “our” are references to Terravet Real Estate Solutions and the entities we own, manage, or control.

Terravet and its affiliates understand that when you interact with us through our website (the “Site”) you may entrust us with your personal information.  We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of that personal information and we have written this privacy policy (the “Policy”) to explain what types of information we collect and how we treat information we may receive from you through the Site. This Policy applies to all information shared through the Site. By using the Site, you consent to the collection and use of your information in the manner described herein.

This Policy also sets out your rights and who you can contact for more information. Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we treat it. By interacting with our Site or providing us with your information, you agree to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in this privacy policy. We may update this Policy from time to time, including following reviews of our procedures and to comply with applicable laws. Any changes we make to this Policy in the future will be posted on this page along with the effectiveness date of the new Policy.  Following the specified effectiveness date, all future processing of personal information will be subject to the updated Policy; your continued use of the Site after such updates shall be deemed your consent to the updated Policy. Limits to this Policy

The Site may include links to other websites or portals, including our official social media pages and our investor portal.  This Policy does not apply to the websites of any other company or organization, even when we provide links to such websites on the Site.  No link implies our endorsement of any third-party company, website, or products and services.  Any information shared with those companies and websites are subject to the privacy policies of such websites, and we encourage you to review all policies, rules, terms, and regulations of such websites and to use caution in determining what information to share.  Terravet is not responsible or liable for the privacy policies and practices of third-party websites.

Additionally, the privacy and confidentiality of any information disclosed in or under agreements we enter into with investors, clients, customers, suppliers, or other persons are governed by the terms of such agreements.

Information We Collect

In running and maintaining our Site, engaging with you for the provision or receipt of products or services, or for any other purpose as outlined below, we may collect and process certain information about you in physical and electronic form.

This information may include your personal information (information that identifies, relates to, or describes, directly or indirectly, you as an individual), including the following:

  1. Information that you provide when you contact, do business, or interact with us by phone, email, or Site contact portals, or apply for, enroll in or register for an event that we are organizing, in each case including your contact information, such as your home address, work address, email address, telephone number(s) and other contact details.
  2. Information you provide in a resumé or other application form when applying for a job vacancy with us.
  3. Technical information, such as your ISP, IP address, device identifiers, hardware identifiers, the type of internet browser and settings, and the operating system you are using.
  4. Log information, such as the details of your use of the Site, your visits to the Site, and traffic data.
  5. Location information, if you have enabled and consented to location information collection through your browser.
  6. Information regarding your website preferences, and content and information you elect to provide through the Site or emails, chats, or other communications sent to us.

Some of the information identified above may be considered sensitive data under certain laws. If required under applicable law, we will collect and process sensitive personal data only with your consent.  You are not obliged to provide us with any of your personal information to access or use the Site, but failing to provide us with such information or objecting to the processing of such information may delay or limit the services for which we can engage with you.  We will hold, use and otherwise process such personal data in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws and as set out in this Policy. 

We also collect:

  • Statistics or aggregated information. Statistical or aggregated data does not directly identify a specific person, but we may derive non-personal statistical or aggregated data from personal data. For example, we may aggregate personal data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific Site feature.
  • Technical information. Technical information includes information about your internet connection and usage details about your interactions with the Site, such as clickstream information to, through, and from our Site (including date and time), products that you view or search for; page response times, download errors, length of your visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), or methods used to browse away from a page.

If we combine or connect non-personal statistical or technical data with personal data so that it directly or indirectly identifies an individual, we treat the combined information as personal information.

Like most websites, Terravet may set and access cookies and similar technology on your device to obtain information about how you access and use the Site. Our use of cookies is described in our Cookies Policy.

Use of Information

We use the information that we collect from you to provide you with a safe, smooth, and efficient experience and to provide our products and services to you. In addition to this we may use the information for one or more of the following purposes:

  1. To respond to your requests for information relating to our products or services and to communicate with you.
  2. To organize events (including with third parties).
  3. To inform you of any changes to our Site, services or goods and products.
  4. To promote our services, business, and offerings by publishing advertising on our own Sites and by placing ads on third parties' services. We may use your information to model, segment, target, offer, market, and advertise our Site and services.
  5. To administer and improve our Site and for internal operations, including running and improving our business, troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes.
  6. If you have applied for a position with us, to consider your application and qualifications, including to identify and contact you.
  7. In order to stop illegal, fraudulent, or malicious activities by users accessing the Site. This may include the use of identifying data of specific users, in order to prevent their future use of the Site.

Storing and Protecting Your Personal Data

We will only keep the information we collect about you and through your use of the Site for as long as required for the purposes set out above or as otherwise legally permitted or required, such as maintaining the Site, operating our organization, complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and for safety, security, and fraud prevention. We will also maintain the information as required to comply with internal document retention policies and any legal obligations to which we are subject.  This means that we consider our legal and business obligations, potential risks of harm, and nature of the information when deciding how long to retain personal data.

We have also developed internal policies to ensure appropriate technical, physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards are in place to protect your information from unauthorized access. Unfortunately, the sending of information via the internet (including by email) is not totally secure and on occasion such information can be intercepted. Please consider this fact prior to sending personal and confidential information through the Site. We will take commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technical measures designed to protect your personal data from accidental loss or destruction and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure, but we cannot guarantee the security of data that is sent and stored electronically.  By sending us data electronically you acknowledge that such transmission is entirely at your own risk.

Disclosing Your Information

We may also share your personal information:

  • with third parties who support our information technology or handle mailings or events on our behalf;
  • with law enforcement agencies, other governmental agencies or third parties as a result of legal requirements, subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, including in the exercise of our legal rights or to defend against claims;
  • to enforce or apply our terms of use;
  • if we believe that such action is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action with respect to illegal activities, fraud, cyber-crime, to protect against threats to the physical safety of any person, or as otherwise required by law, or to protect the Site, our technology assets or the rights, property or safety of our organization, our customers and clients, or any person; and
  • with other business entities should we plan to merge with or be acquired by that business entity, if we undergo a re-organization with that entity, or if we plan to sell or transfer some or all of Terravet’s assets to that entity.

Your State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residency, you may have certain rights related to your personal data, including:

  • Access and Data Portability: You may confirm whether we process your personal data and access a copy of the personal data we process. To the extent feasible and required by state law, depending on your state, data will be provided in a portable format. Depending on your state, you may have the right to receive additional information and it will be included in the response to your access request.
  • Correction: You may request that we correct inaccuracies in your personal data that we maintain, taking into account the information's nature and processing purpose.
  • Deletion: You may request that we delete personal data about you that we maintain, subject to certain exception under applicable law.
  • Opt Out of Using Personal Data for Targeted Advertising, Profiling, and Sales: You may request that we do not use your personal data for these purposes.

Important: The exact scope of these rights vary by state. There are also several exceptions where we may not have an obligation to fulfill your request.

Some browsers and browser extensions support the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) that can send a signal to process your request to opt out from certain types of data processing, including data "sales" as defined under certain laws. When we detect such a signal, we will make reasonable efforts to respect your choices indicated by a GPC setting as required by applicable law.

Nevada provides its residents with a limited right to opt out of certain personal data sales. Residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights may submit a request by email at [email protected]. However, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute's opt-out requirements.

Children Under the Age of 18

We will not knowingly collect or maintain information from children under the age of 18 without the verifiable consent of a parent or guardian.  The Site is not directed toward children under the age of 18, and children should not provide any personal information through the Site.  If we receive information from a user of the Site we know to be under the age of 18, we will not create files or profiles of such information.
